A strictly trade-only show, NATEXPO reveals the new organic trends emerging in a buoyant market where actors have to provide responses to the demand for quality and new products from buyers in all categories. 18 October 13.00 – 13.45 IFOAM EU will present an overview of recent developments in European-level policy and regulations relating to organic food and agriculture during the session ‘The impact of the European Union on the interests of the organic market’. In addition, visitors will discover insight into the representation of conventional as compared with organic interests at the institutions which form the heart of the European Union. Finally, the practical implications of EU policies will be discussed with a focus on the effect and costs of them on organic businesses.
