Online press conference on Green Claims

As the European Parliament is negotiating compromise amendments on the Green Claims Directive, the organic movement reiterated pressing issues on the file and their implications for the agri-food sector during an online press conference that was held on 23 January 2024, 10:30 CET.

The Commission’s proposal itself acknowledges that the PEF methodology has limitations when it comes to assessing the impact of food products, and it would be difficult to understand that the Parliament would further strengthen the need to use PEF category rules.
