The new European Research & Innovation Partnership AGROECOLOGY officially launched its first call for proposals titled “Fostering Agroecology at Farm and Landscape levels”.
The objective of this call is to fund transdisciplinary R&I projects addressing the agroecology transition of both conventional and organic farming systems. Projects are expected to study and implement agroecology at two geographic scales:
- Theme 1 – at the farm level and its immediate surroundings
- Theme 2 – at the landscape or territorial level
Researchers from universities, higher education institutions, research institutions, public sector entities, non-profit organisations, and private companies are eligible to apply, based on the national/regional regulations and eligibility criteria outlined in the call announcement.
Consortia’s application must include a minimum of three eligible partners seeking funding from at least three different countries that are contributing funds to the call.
Please find the pre-announcement here, and access the submission system for more information about the call.
We warmly invite members of IFOAM Organics Europe and TP Organics to the webinar dedicated to discussing the practical aspects of the call on 13 March 2024, between 10:00 – 12:00 CET. The webinar is organised by TP Organics (the only European Technology Platform for organic research & innovation hosted by IFOAM Organics Europe) and will consist of an informative session followed by a brokerage event. Our distinguished speakers, including Nicolas Tinois, Coordinator of AGROECOLOGY, will guide you through the partnership, technical aspects, eligibility rules, submission platform, administrative matters, and more.
In the interactive segment, participants will engage with potential project partners and brainstorm ideas.
