23 September is now EU Organic Day

This year the European Parliament, Council of the European Union and European Commission will sign a Joint Declaration establishing 23 September as EU Organic Day (#OrganicEU).

Today, our President, Jan Plagge, is invited to witness the signature of this declaration and provide a statement –  in the company of representatives from Copa Cogeca, Eurocommerce, CEJA, EuroCommerce and FoodDrinkEurope and the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of Regions.
