FarmDemo training kit: Helping farmers organise farm demonstration events
Horizon 2020 projects, AgriDemo-F2F, PLAID and NEFERTITI developed the FarmDemo training kit for organising farm demonstration events. It collects tools, guidelines and videos that help farmers and other organisers setting up a successful farm demonstration, both on farms and online.
The NEFERTITI project further developed the training kit and updated it with the latest materials on organising farm demonstration events, such as practical guidelines, tools, and inspiration from practice. The training kit will enhance skills and builds capacity among farm-demo organisers, enables the practical implementation of innovative demo practices on the farm and increases the awareness on the value of farmer-to-farmer exchanges during farm demonstrations.
On 11-12 December 2020, the Training Kit was presented to a wide range of European actors interested by on-farm demonstration during a webinar organised by NEFERTITI. The NEFERTITI project aims to establish an EU-wide connected network of demonstration and pilot farms to enhance knowledge exchange and innovation uptake. IFOAM Organics Europe is a partner in the project.
