Organic as part of the solution to the objectives of the European Green Deal: How to reach the 25% target?
On 30 September from 15:00-16:00 CEST, we will talk about reaching the 25% organic land target together with representatives from leading organic companies. Eric Gall, Policy Manager at IFOAM Organics Europe will guide speakers and participants through this session, in which we will discuss the vision of organic businesses on organic’s role in reaching the European Green Deal objectives.

New EU Organic Regulation: What to look out for on 1 January 2022
Laurence Bonafos from the European Commission’s Directorate-General on Agriculture and Rural Development and other high-level speakers will inform us about the expected changes in the new EU Organic Regulation on 1 October from 10:00-11:00 CEST. Among others, we will cover the main changes for organic certification and processing of organic products that will apply from 1 January 2022.

We will end this year’s edition with a closing speech by Janusz Wojciechowski, European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development and Jan Plagge, IFOAM Organics Europe President.
