“Carbon farming – New potential for farmers or Greenwashing?”

at the Representation of the State of Hesse 1000,

This conference will bring together scientists, farmers, regional representatives and Member States to discuss the ongoing legislative process and future challenges and opportunities.

A few of the topics we would like to discuss during the conference:

  1. How voluntary credits first appeared in the fight against global warming in the framework of the Kyoto Protocol and what their place is today.
  2. Possible techniques for increasing carbon sequestration in soils, the capacities of carbon that could be stored each year and the monitoring means needed to supervise the actual quantities stored and their permanence in soils and plants.
  3. Examine the possible consequences of carbon farming for agriculture, in particular for family farming and organic farming.A few of the confirmed speakers are:
