Organic Plant Based Expo in Copenhagen
Join the all-organic all plant-based expo, Organic Plant Based Expo, on 5-6 November 2022 in Denmark. 5,000 visitors are expected in Copenhagen’s most centrally located venue for expos, Øksnehallen.
Meet buyers from retail and food service, colleagues and consumers in a market, where 65% of plant-based dairy, for example, is already organic. 45 stalls are confirmed, but there is space for more, and the expo would in particular love to see more stalls from other countries.
Denmark is an attractive market for organic products, as the organic share of the market is the world’s highest. 18 % of the population now eat more vegetarians meals per week, than they eat meals with meat, and for those aged 18 to 34, the share is 30 %. Among these, organic preferences are significantly higher than among the rest of the population.
Prices for a stall start from around 500 euros for startups (4 sq metres) – and 168 euros per square metre for other companies.
The expo is organized by the Vegetarian Society of Denmark in collaboration with Organic Denmark, VeggieWorld, the Danish Plant-Based Business Association, the Danish Agriculture & Food Council and Øksnehallen.
