Using action plans to develop organics

Join our event ‘Using action Plans to Develop ORGANICS’

23 March 2018, from 9:00 to 13:00 at Business Europe.

The event will look at how Organic Action Plans can help SMEs and the wider European agri-food sector to stimulate high quality food production, rural job creation, environmental protection, climate action and animal welfare by taking a more coordinated approach. Action plans do this by providing a framework for integrating different policies into a broader policy picture. They also help in setting common objectives, targets and actions that serve the organic sector’s needs and meet public policy goals in a specific country or region.

See the event agenda here.

Participants are also invited to an evening reception on 22 March 2018 at 17:30 organised by CIHEAM-Bari and Puglia regional government at the Puglia Office of Institutional Relations to the European Union (Rue du Trône 62, 1050 Brussels).

During the reception, the Puglia Action Plan on Organic Food and Farming will be presented with a special focus on the Regional observatory for the development of organic farming. The event will be followed by a tasting of typical products made in Puglia. Please find the agenda here.

Register here before 16 March 2018! Number of places is limited!

We are looking forward to meeting you on 22 and 23 March 2018.
