Are you an expert on plant protection products and/or fertilisers? – Join the new IFOAM EU expert group!

A call for experts is now open to join an IFOAM EU expert group on Plant Protection Products and Fertilisers. This group will provide expertise on legislative issues that could have significant implications for new and existing plant protection and fertiliser products of interest to the organic sector.

• Relevant working areas include the current REFIT evaluation performed by the European Commission, new organic regulation, specific guidance for the approval of mineral substances, fertiliser products legislation.
• For an overview of issues relevant to the organic sector, please refer to the IFOAM EU position paper on Plant Health Care in Organic Farming (April 2016).
• The deadline for members to express their interest in participating to the Plant Protection and Fertiliser Expert Group is by close of business Monday, 30 April 2018. Please take the time to fill in the online form. Participation to the group is open to all members of IFOAM EU.
