Commission publishes Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/786 on arrangements for imports of organic products from third countries

On 16 June 2020, the Commission published the implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/786 amending and correcting the regulation laying down detailed rules for implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 as regards the arrangements for imports of organic products from third countries Regulation (EC) No 1235/2008.

This implementing regulation falls in line with the regular update of Annexes III and IV of Regulation (EC) No 1235/2008. Respectively, the mentioned annexes represent the list of third countries and the list of recognised control bodies and control authorities for the purpose of equivalence.

The new implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/786 will enter into force 20 days following its publication in the Official Journal of the EU.
