Saying goodbye to our colleagues

Caterina Berardi

We are saying goodbye to IFOAM Organics Europe Internal Communications and Membership Officer Caterina Berardi.

Caterina started as Internal Communications and Operations Coordinator and grew into Officer, taking on more responsibilities in the membership area.

She was responsible for internal communications with our Board & Council, as well as supporting & developing IFOAM Organics Europe membership. She worked on several General Assemblies, contributed to our member extranet development & worked hard to maintain strong relationship between IFOAM Organics Europe team in Brussels and our members across Europe.

We would like to thank Caterina for her commitment to IFOAM Organics Europe’s work. She will be missed by the office team.

Thomas Haselberger

We are bidding goodbye to IFOAM Organics Europe’s Policy Assistant Thomas Haselberger. Thomas will continue working in the food and farming sector as Agriculture Researcher at Land Schafft Leben in Austria.

Thomas started his contribution to the European organic movement as European Solidarity Corps (ESC) volunteer and grew into Policy Assistant, working on climate change, biodiversity and animal welfare, and participating in the coordination of IFOAM Organic Europe’s farmers group. Thomas was also involved in the Erasmus+ project on Innovative Land Strategies and helped coordinate the IFOAM Organics Europe’s Interest Group of Organic Farmers.

We will miss Thomas and would like to thank him for his commitment to IFOAM Organics Europe’s work. He will be missed by the office team and his colleagues from the policy team.
