Saying goodbye to our colleagues

Staff

Antoine Pauti

IFOAM Organics Europe policy unit says goodbye to Antoine, who joined the team as Policy Assistant for agriculture, environment, and food. He mainly worked on organic textiles and sustainable public procurement. On organic textiles, his work contributed to IFOAM Organics Europe’s revised position on the matter, asking for the same legal protection for organic textiles that organic foods already enjoy. On sustainable public procurement, he took part in the advocacy work aimed at ensuring that meals in public canteens contribute to a healthy, fairer, and more sustainable diet, with more organic products. We thank Antoine for his contributions and wish him all the best for the future!

ESC Volunteers

Arianna Bellemo

Arianna joined IFOAM Organic Europe in September 2021 as ESC volunteer. Until June 2022, has been a precious help for the communications team.
Hard working, creative and calm, Arianna was always ready to support her colleagues through stressful situations. She mainly worked on our newsletter, the EU Organic Awards, database management and media monitoring. Arianna’s writing skills landed her a job in PR days after the end of her ESC experience. Congratulations Arianna, we wish you all the best and hope to meet again later!

Laura van Heeswijk

IFOAM Organics Europe’s membership and events team is saying goodbye to Laura, who became a wonderful team member in one year of volunteering. Laura’s creativity and organisational skills contributed to numerous events, among other Organics Europe Youth Event and the European Organic Congress. She also coordinated the member-only webinar series “Lets discuss organic” and other member activities. Our Events & Membership team is very grateful for all the work and dedication Laura put in the team and wishes her best of success in her new carrier turn and future endeavours.

Rico Heller

IFOAM Organics Europe’s projects and partnerships (P&P) team says goodbye to Rico, a dedicated team member. Rico joined as an ESC volunteer in September 2021 for 11 months. He was a great addition to the team, bringing new ideas and support on many occasions. He made important contributions to the implementation of the sponsorship strategy, developing eye-catching brochures on IFOAM Organics Europe work as well as identifying and getting in contact with new potential sponsors. He also greatly supported the work of project development, contributing to writing several proposals for public and private funders. IFOAM Organics Europe and the P&P team wish him the best in his studies and his future endeavours!
