Sign by 3 December to stop toxic alliance between FAO and CropLife International

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) recently signed a letter of intent to formalize a partnership with CropLife International. CropLife is the global trade association representing the largest agrochemical, pesticide, and seed companies.

Sign Pesticide Action’s Network to tell the FAO to stop this topexic alliance!

A partnership between the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization and CropLife would give additional space for these pesticide and GM seed manufacturers to promote such technologies. This would work against the much needed and urgently needed transition to innovative, knowledge-intensive ecological approaches, known as agroecology, that FAO has been supporting in recent years!

It is needless to say this alliance endangers the future of our global food systems!

IFOAM Organics Europe supports the Stop FAO-CropLife #ToxicAlliance Campaign runed by PAN International. We invite all our members to sign and share the petition demanding FAO not to enter a formal alliance with the pesticide industry by 3 December. The signatures are collected individually.
